Cass Bird was born in 1974 and currently lives in New York. She is an artist, photographer, and director. She has been exhibited widely in the United States as well as abroad, and has been featured in The New York Times Magazine, Rolling Stone, and GQ.

I honestly have no idea how I have never heard of Cass up until now. I am quite literally in love with her photography. She’s bold, she’s sassy, she’s free. Other than writing, a dream job of mine would be working with magazine photography. Seeing her pictures, I remember why.
